Tell us a bit more about yourself
I spent about 10 years abroad (South Africa, New Zealand and USA). Later, I worked for many
years as a pharmacist/biochemist in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in the development of
animal medicines. After my retirement, I twice spent several weeks in Tanzania, supporting the
establishment of a training laboratory for pharmacy students.
Why are you volunteering at SapoCycle?
I very much support the 3 aspects of SapoCycle – waste reduction, health improvement and social integrations of those who are less privileged. The core team is very motivated and have done a great job so far. As a retiree I like to invest some of my free time in the expansion of this great project.
What do you offer to SapoCycle and what does it bring to you?
Technical knowledge as industrial pharmacist and long experience of project management. In return, satisfaction to contribute to a worthwhile cause.
